This research aims to develop a storytelling-based Arabic reading and writing learning model, especially on mutholaah material in grade 1 Tarbiyatul Mu'allimat Al-Islamiyyah at Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic Boarding School. The method applied in this research is research and development using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 28 students of class 1D who were students at Tarbiyatul Mu'allimat. The results showed that the application of storytelling in mutholaah learning succeeded in increasing students' interest and skills in reading and writing Arabic. This learning model not only makes it easier for students to understand the mutholaah material, but also improves their Arabic language skills as a whole. Based on the evaluation results, the storytelling-based learning model is considered effective and is expected to be applied in class 1 Tarbiyatul Mu'allimat to improve the teaching and learning process at Pondok Pesantren Wali Songo Ngabar.
