Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to MUDALLA go through a peer-review process to ensure quality and originality.

  1. Initial screening – the editors check each submission for fit with the focus and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, and originality (similarity check).
  2. Peer review – manuscripts that pass screening are sent to reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers assess originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.
  3. Revision – authors revise their manuscripts based on reviewer and editor comments and resubmit them through the system.
  4. Editorial decision – the editors make the final decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or decline.
  5. Copyediting and publication – accepted manuscripts are copyedited, laid out, and published online in the current volume.
