Pembelajaran Verba Mu‘tal melalui Perbandingan Bentuk Permukaan Akar dan Konteks dalam Latihan Digital
Keywords:
weak verbs, Arabic morphology, surface form, root identification, digital practiceAbstract
This conceptual article proposes a comparison-based design for teaching selected Arabic weak verbs. A directed narrative synthesis and constructed examples distinguish surface letters, lexical roots, inflectional context, and meaning. The pairs qāla–yaqūlu–qultu and ramā–yarmī–lam yarmi illustrate why visible spelling cannot always be treated as an unchanged sequence of root letters. The proposed digital task asks learners to compare forms, check a reference, explain the contextual condition, and apply the analysis to an appropriately supported new example. Feedback is directed separately at root identification, form selection, and sentence use. No learner responses or achievement gains are reported. The framework is limited to selected forms and requires expert checking, task calibration, and independent transfer assessment before claims can be made about improved morphological awareness.
