Kohesi Pronominal Arab Indonesia dalam Penulisan Paragraf melalui Penelusuran Rujukan dan Revisi Digital
Keywords:
pronominal cohesion, Arabic Indonesian, reference tracking, paragraph writing, digital revisionAbstract
This conceptual article develops a reference-tracking framework for teaching pronominal cohesion in Arabic paragraph writing through Arabic–Indonesian comparison. Constructed paragraphs illustrate how gender and number constrain potential antecedents without always resolving reference. The analysis distinguishes formal agreement, contextual plausibility, and reader accessibility. A proposed digital revision sheet records each pronoun, candidate antecedents, the intended reference, and the reason for revising or repeating a noun. Indonesian paraphrases are used to clarify communicative intention rather than automatically predict first-language interference. Assessment separates reference consistency, preservation of meaning, revision justification, and independent use in a new paragraph. No learner-error corpus or frequency estimate is reported. The framework requires linguistic review and actual reader-response evidence before claims about improved cohesion or cross-linguistic effects can be established.
