Abstract

This article develops a reproducible review protocol and preliminary evidence map for scholarship on relations between the Qur’an and biblical or post-biblical traditions. The review asks how textual parallels, narrative transformations, theological arguments and later Jewish or Christian receptions are identified and evaluated. Searches of Scopus, Web of Science and ATLA are planned, with independent screening, full-text extraction and design-sensitive appraisal. Targeted journal and publisher discovery yielded 26 candidate research records, but these are not a final systematic-review population. The provisional map distinguishes four domains: narrative refiguration, prophetic discourse, legal-theological engagement, and translation or reception history. Representative studies highlight the importance of textual witnesses, chronological directionality, competing explanations and the difference between authorial interpretation and documented manuscript evidence.
