This study aims to analyze the relationship between introverted personality traits and Arabic speaking skills among third-semester students of the Arabic Language Teaching Department at Darussalam Gontor University. Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational design, the research employed an ex post facto method to examine whether introversion influences students’ speaking performance. Data were collected through two instruments: a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure introversion levels and documentation of oral test scores to assess speaking proficiency. The collected data were analyzed statistically using correlation tests to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results indicated that there is no significant influence of introverted personality traits on students’ Arabic speaking skills. This suggests that speaking ability is not solely determined by personality type, but may depend more on learning strategies, practice opportunities, and classroom environment. The findings highlight the importance of creating interactive and supportive learning settings that encourage all students, regardless of personality differences, to participate actively in speaking activities
