The Use of Moodle in Higher Education: A Comprehensive Analytical Study

The use of Moodle as a Learning Management System is becoming increasingly prominent in the transformation of digital learning. This conceptual article presents a theoretical synthesis of various studies that highlight the effectiveness, challenges, and prerequisites for the successful implementation of Moodle in online learning. The results of the review indicate that the use of Moodle can increase participation and learning outcomes when supported by users' digital literacy, interactive instructional design, and institutional technology and policy support. This article offers a theoretical understanding that can serve as a basis for developing policies and implementation strategies for Moodle in the era of digital education.
