ARABIC LANGUAGE LEARNING BASED ON PROJECT BASED LEARNING

Abstract

Arabic language learning often faces challenges such as monotonous teaching methods, limited facilities, and low student participation. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is offered as a solution by placing students at the center of the learning process and providing them with opportunities to construct their own understanding. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review to analyze the implementation of Project Based Learning in Arabic language learning in terms of language skills, educational levels, and the use of technology.The results of this study indicate that Project Based Learning can be applied in various forms, in relation to Arabic language proficiency, educational stages, and technological integration. The main obstacles of Project based learning include limited time, lack of facilities, variations in students’ abilities, and assessment standards. The recommended strategies include teacher training, the provision of digital and non-digital learning media, the use of assessment rubrics, and collaboration among teachers. A well-planned implementation of PjBL can create Arabic language learning that is more active, engaging, and effective.
