MUKHAYYAM ‘ARABI: A STRATEGY TO INTRODUCE ARABIC-SPEAKING ENVIRONMENT AT MAS FOR UNIVERSE

Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely (1) to examine the effectiveness of Mukhayyam 'Arabi activities as a means of introducing the Arabic language environment for MAS For Universe students in Southern Thailand (2) to identify various obstacles that arise during the implementation of these activities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Mukhayyam 'Arabi activities were effective in creating a communicative learning atmosphere and encouraging students to actively use Arabic in everyday life. In addition, there are some obstacles such as limited learning media and language differences, but these obstacles can be overcome through strategies such as multilingual approaches, fun learning, and the formation of study groups. This activity also contributes to building students' character especially build self-confidence and creating an inclusive learning environment for the minority Muslim community
