The objectives of this research are: 1) to understand the portrayal of the character Rana in the novel Na’am Ahwak by Marwah Mamdouh based on Carl Gustav Jung's archetype perspective, and 2) to understand the factors that influence the character Rana in the novel Na’am Ahwak. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection techniques used are reading, noting, and literature study. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman method, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study identify Carl Gustav Jung's archetypes found in Rana, including: 1) 5 personas in the form of a girl who is indifferent to her surroundings, 2) 13 shadows related to personal and collective unconscious levels, 3) 13 anima and 4 animus. The trauma experienced by Rana causes an imbalance in her anima and animus. 4) 4 selves that emerge when Rana is able to live her life by being herself again without the worries and traumas that haunt her. Additionally, there are five factors that cause changes in Rana.
