Abstract

This study examines Arabic as a global language in the digital era, focusing on AI-based translation and linguistic authority. Using a qualitative conceptual approach, the study integrates perspectives from sociolinguistics and computer-mediated communication. The findings indicate that AI translation expands the global reach of Arabic but also creates challenges related to contextual meaning, linguistic accuracy, and language authority. The study emphasizes the importance of balancing technological innovation with established linguistic scholarship.
